Thank you, Laura. It is my nervous system that needs this calming and this hope. With everything going on in our country in this chaos we must find that hope, The Tikvah.

Yes, mine, too. Poetry helps. The woods help. Walking helps. Time with loved one helps, but still it is looming over us all.

Gorgeous poem, Laura. I love the flow of the words, falling like the leaves from the tree. The thought that we are always part of a larger process, always becoming something or someone new—that is comforting. It takes me out of momentary despair into a larger field of possibilities, igniting creativity.
